This would make for an exciting racing experience, with the sides of the valley providing a natural barrier to the surrounding area.ДЄccess to the site would involve the construction of direct road access from the Mid-Western Highway and a secondary access from near McPhillamy Park (via Barry Gurdon Drive or College Road). The new circuit would be located in a valley and integrate with the natural landform and topography. The proposed new motorsport site is located south-west of the existing Mount Panorama Circuit and about five kilometres south-west of the city of Bathurst. By building a second circuit, motorsports activity can grow without changing the heritage of the historic Mount Panorama Circuit, cementing BathurstвЂ™s international reputation as a motorsport hotspot.
